AHS, a distinguished real estate company, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Butler to join our elite team. As the Head Butler, you will be responsible for overseeing the household staff and ensuring that the highest standards of service and hospitality are maintained at all times. This prestigious position requires excellent leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine passion for providing personalized service to our distinguished clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the household staff, including butlers, housekeepers, and maintenance personnel
  • Coordinate all aspects of service for guests, including meal service, event planning, and special requests
  • Maintain an inventory of household supplies and manage procurement as necessary
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the property
  • Anticipate and fulfill the needs and preferences of the residents, enhancing their overall experience
  • Serve as a point of contact for guests and external service providers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
  • Enforce health, safety, and security protocols, maintaining the integrity of the household
  • Have experience preparing a principal for travel
  • Packing and unpacking
  • Full wardrobe management & knowledge of expensive fabrics
  • Top experience in front of house and food & beverage service – you will meet and greet guests and be personable and knowledge when it comes to formal and informal service
  • Running personal errands for the principal
  • A real eye for detail and being one step ahead of the principal’s needs.
  • Liaising with other staff to ensure the smooth running of the household
  • Tech savvy and a good communicator – you may be asked to make various appointments and reservations


Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Butler or in a similar high-level role within luxury residences or hospitality
  • In-depth knowledge of household management, service, and etiquette standards
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
  • A valid driver’s license and knowledge of local and international cuisine is preferred
  • Proficiency in relevant technology and software for household management
