The Butler serves as a key point of contact for the Royal Family and their guests, ensuring efficient, personalized, and discreet service. Responsible for food and beverage service, supervising table arrangements, and maintaining high standards of hospitality within the palace.
Demonstrate good knowledge of food and beverages; order food according to the Royal Family’s requirements
Supervise table arrangements prior to the Royal Family’s arrival
Serve the Royal Family members calmly, discreetly, and courteously, adhering to timing standards
Handle complaints professionally and calmly
Train junior staff on all service aspects and maintain training materials
Make proactive decisions and seek approval or guidance when necessary
Coordinate with housekeeping regarding cleaning schedules
Be fully familiar with palace layout, features, and equipment
Understand operating procedures for all electrical and electronic equipment in work areas
Communicate with nanny about children’s activities and requests
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and report requirements to housekeeping supervisor
Strictly adhere to palace rules, hygiene, health, and safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management
5–7 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong communication skills in English
Excellent organizational skills
Service-oriented attitude
Ability to supervise staff effectively
Arabic language skills
Experience in high-profile or royal household environments
Start date: Mid-June 2025 (interviews expected around June 17)
Duration: Minimum 2-year contract
Workload: Full-time, 6 days per week (negotiable for senior profiles)
Location: On-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE (interview may be held in Bucharest)
Language: English required (Arabic a plus)
